Thank you for inventing the term "digital Rumspringa". I will use it in place of my mainstay "premature evacuation" when I accidentally release something I've been trying to hold back until the right time.
The new album is fantastic and I’ve really enjoyed it - it’s only making it more exciting that it’ll drop again (again). I wondered why it left my Apple Music library and had no reviews or anything anywhere.
Having recently/reluctantly entered the old-man-yells-at-cloud era of my career, we recently experimented with a physical only release of our latest thing. Devastating for visibility, but still — there was something really gratifying/empowering in the illusion of reclaiming some kind of control over the work. Not a suggestion, just an observation.
Damn, foiled by not having Apple Music. Seems like there are traces on Shazam’s website as well. A particular track, funnily enough, displays Bobby Darin’s ‘Splish Splash’ as the music video.
Isn't THIS ironic? Young Americans Challenged by High Technology? :D :/

Makes me feel special that I got to listen early!
The world’s first disappearing album? 🤷 For real, thank you! All we want to do is make people feel special.
Wow, what a journey!
