Hello you all, we’re in your window with a brief update.
We’re jumping out of the egg and into the frying pan—that is say, making a few public musical appearances. If you’re in San Francisco or LA, we’d love to see you.
🍳 SF — Saturday, October 26th @ The Palace of Fine Arts
This weekend, we’re DJing at the gorgeous Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco as part of a massive Halloween party thrown by the nice people of Electroluxx. Buy tickets here. Jury’s still out on what direction we’re going to go with our costumes but it’s looking like they’ll involve berets.
Years ago we were invited to play a fancy Halloween party at a private members’ only club on a rooftop in West Hollywood. The organizers offered us the services of a professional, on-staff costume and makeup person, but we declined. We thought that the super dumpy Seinfeld costumes we threw together from a half hour of shopping at Goodwill would be just fine. We underestimated the LA of it all: everyone at the party looked like they spent thousands of dollars on their costumes and makeup, and we looked like shit. Will we ever learn? No.
🍳 LA — Wednesday, November 6th @ The Regent Theater
We’re playing live for the first time in almost two years (we promise that lag will make sense once we reveal what we’ve been working on this whole time). It’s the 10 year anniversary of the beautiful Regent Theater downtown. We actually played the opening ten years ago, and this time we’re returning to play with a band we’ve loved for a long time: !!! (chk chk chk). Buy tickets here. Yes, we know it’s the day after the election! Hopefully we’ll all be celebrating. Please vote, or make a plan to!
🛒 In T-Shirt News, SoundCloud asked us to design an exclusive t-shirt for their new online store. Believe it or not, this is the first pocket tee in the 20+ year existence of the band YACHT. It comes in black or white, and it features our now-canonical new mascot, Sunny. Get it here! For some reason SoundCloud are giving us 100% of the profits! The SoundCloud webstore is so new it’s basically just us and Wiz Khalifa right now!
☎️ We’re still listening to all your voicemail messages and loving them. However, we’ve noticed that nearly everyone who leaves us a message says something along the lines of “keep doing what you’re doing” or “don’t give up.” We just want to reassure you that we are medically incapable of doing anything but what we do and we’ll be at it until we’re in the ground. Love you!

Looking forward to the rest of that tour schedule! Come to Cleveland, endorse a candidate, play music and we’ll dance!
Eggs are so expensive now, please come back
